Jonathan is Vice Chairman of Healthcare Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., in New York. A visionary entrepreneur with 30 years’ experience in the biotechnology business area, he was the Founder and President of The Trout Group, a leading life sciences advisory firm specialising in providing investor relations and financial strategic services to the global biomedical industry and which has served over 250 life sciences companies worldwide. He started his career with DuPont Pharma in New York in 1988 in pharmaceutical sales and marketing. He then become a biotechnolgy securities analyst first with D Blech & Co in 1992 and then with Josephthal & Co, both in New York. He has an MBA from New York University and a BA in chemical biology from University of North Carolina.
